ISQ Exemption Policy for JAIBP Qualification [Fast Track Route]

In JAIBP qualification, the Institute of Bankers Pakistan (IBP) others exemptions under fast track route in different subject(s) based on academic qualifications and professional studies.

Eligibility Criteria

According to the IBP-Academic and Editorial Committee/ Board Policy:

  • Candidates can avail exemptions up to 02 subjects in JAIBP if they have completed similar subjects in their academic qualifications.
  • Candidates can avail exemptions up to 06 subjects in JAIBP if they have completed similar subjects in their professional studies (ICAP, ICMAP, PIPFA and ACCA-UK).

Documents Required:

Attested photocopy of transcript(s) and degree or completion certificate along with exemption form to be dispatch to Examinations Department, The Institute of Bankers Pakistan, M.T Khan Road, Karachi address.

Terms and Conditions:

Candidates are strictly advised to go through the following Exemption Guidelines before applying the Exemptions:
  • Document(s) attestation is required from the concern universities/ institutions/respective Bank HR;
  • If the transcript has Grade instead of Marks, an equivalency certificate of Grading to be enclosed with the exemption application form;
  • In case of foreign qualifications, an equivalency certificate from HEC is required;
  • Subject(s) which has/ have already been attempted by the candidates in JAIBP cannot be considered for exemption(s);
  • As per revised attempt policy, an attempt will only be counted when the candidates actually appear in the examination irrespective of the fact he/ she has been granted an exemption;
  • Exemption fee will be treated as processing fees and is non-refundable. In case of incomplete documentation or attestation other than University Registrar/ Examination Dept. or Respective Bank’s HR , Institute will not be liable to refund/ adjust the exemption fee;
  • Exemption will strictly be granted subject to syllabus mapping of the respective subjects;
  • Candidates who have applied for exemptions are advised not to apply for enrollment until the decisions w/r to the exemptions are announced. Otherwise, their paid fees will not be refunded/ adjusted or carry forward to the next session;
  • Decision of the Institute with respect to exemption grant/ rejection shall be final.
